Account Executive – New York

Position Description:

The Account Executive will work under the direction of the Regional Sales Manager and manage relationships with end-users and our partners. The Account Executive will provide consultative selling to end-users that meets their technical needs, but also the quota goals assigned to the Account Executive.

Major Responsibilities:

The Account Executive will be responsible for the following:

• Deliver results that meet and/or exceed assigned quota goals
• Find and drive sales opportunities from discovery through closure
• Maintain existing customer relationships, while finding new customers for WTG
• Respond in a timely manner to customer inquiries, requests, or challenges with a sense of urgency
• Cherish the customer relationship and advocate on their behalf when necessary
• Coordinate sales meetings, including as necessary; customers, partners, technical resources, management, and any applicable technology, such as demos, webex, or trial hardware/software
• Create, present, and deliver sales proposals that are professional and detail the technical and financial benefits of the offered solution(s)
• Maintain an up-to-date and accurate sales forecast using Microsoft Dynamics (CRM)
• Participate in regularly scheduled sales meetings (quarterly), company meetings (quarterly), partner engagements (quarterly), and forecast calls (bi-weekly)
• Ability to travel domestically via plane to develop business with partners and customers (quarterly)
• Track and submit all expenses accurately and timely (monthly)
• Understand in detail WTG’s solution offerings, including: Dell, EMC, VMware, Nutanix, Brocade, Microsoft, Zerto, Arctic Wolf Networks and others as they are added to the portfolio
• Work effectively with your Sales Engineers, pre- and post-sale, to meet quota and customer satisfaction

Background and Experience Desired:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Passion for customer-focused selling, with the ability to creatively research and solve customer problems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic with a team-player mentality and willingness to learn and develop
• Working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office; Word, Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint
• Must possess technical knowledge of WTG solutions and how they solve customer business challenges
