Scott founded Winslow Technology Group, LLC in 2003, with the goal of providing better
IT storage solutions to his customers—solutions that are easy-to-use, feature rich, and
affordable. He has led the company to exponential growth that has been recognized
by CRN, and Inc Magazine. A veteran in the IT industry, Scott started his career at
Storage Technology Corporation where he was a successful account executive for
thirteen years. He later joined XIOtech as a senior account executive. He was a
“President’s Club” award-winning sales executive at both companies. Scott holds a BS in
Business Administration from the University of Connecticut, and an MBA from the
JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Jim has over twenty-five years of experience in information systems including computer
systems management, design, programming, installation, training, and support. Prior to
joining WTG, Jim was Systems Manager at Gordon College in Wenham, MA where he
managed the College’s computer systems including the Storage Area Network and
backup and restore system. Previous experience includes eleven years at IDX Systems
Corporation in Burlington, VT where he was a software engineer. Jim has a BS in
Computer Science from the University of Vermont, and a Master of Divinity from the
Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Mike has experience as a systems administrator, with roles in storage administration,
hardware and software support, backup and restore administration, disaster recovery,
business continuity, and SQL administration. His past positions include Field Engineer at
Eze Castle Integration in Boston, MA and Systems Administrator at HarborOne Credit
Union, Brockton, MA. Mike attended Massasoit Community College for Computer
Programming. Microsoft certifications: MCP & MCTS
As an account executive at WTG, Christopher leverages his prior experience as a senior
systems administrator and systems architect. He has worked supporting technologies in
backup, restoration, de-duplication, disaster recovery, storage, Windows Operating
Systems and applications such as SQL and Exchange. Christopher has held positions at
Evergreen Solar in Devens, MA, and in the United States Marine Corps. Christopher has
MCSE certification and several point MCP accreditations.
Brian joined the technical team at Winslow Technology Group in 2008. After completing
his bachelor’s degree at Gordon College in 2004, Brian returned to the school to serve
as Systems Manager, and ultimately Assistant Director of Networking & Computing
Services. While there, Brian was responsible for maintaining the College’s server
infrastructure, SANs, and all backup and disaster recovery operations. He provided
technical assistance in transitioning the college through an administrative software rollout
that tripled the size of their server farm as well as planned and implemented a data center
move. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministries.
Aaron joins the WTG technical team with extensive experience in managing Exchange, Active Directory, file systems, backup and restore. Previously a Windows System Administrator for Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Aaron was responsible for reducing the infrastructure footprint through server virtualization as well as implementing service level high availability and disaster recovery. He is a 2001 graduate of Westfield State College, where he majored in Computer Science.
An accomplished IT professional, Mark joins WTG with a track record that begins with user support and system administration, and works its way up to strategic planning and implementation of complex projects, such as development of SAN infrastructures. Mark most recently held the position of Manager of Network Services at Morrissey Mahoney, LLP, managing and maintaining the data center for 9 offices and 380 users. Previous positions include Network Engineer at HarborOne Credit Union, Brockton, MA and Regional Network Manager for Thomas & Betts of Boston, MA. Mark received his BS in Geology from Salem State, and completed graduate work at Boston College.
Initially working with WTG as a Northeastern University co-op employee, Tom Knych
demonstrated the initiative, customer focus, and enthusiam that complemented the WTG
team. Upon graduation, he joined Winslow Technology Group as a sales executive. Tom
enjoys pursuing his interests in the area of server and desktop virtualization. Tom holds a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in
Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Northeastern University.
Samantha started at Winslow Technology Group as a part of the Northeastern co-op
program, and continued as a full-time member of the team after her co-op was completed.
Samantha has a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship
and Management from Northeastern University, and looks forward to continued growth
and development in the management field.
